Charging communication conformity test according to DIN SPEC 70121:2014
Electromobility is increasingly finding its way into the automotive industry. This is evident from the number of series-produced electric vehicles that have been launched on the market in recent years. This new technology brings a host of new challenges. One of the key aspects is fast DC charging at public charging stations.
Vehicles such as the MW i3, VW eUP and eGolf, Hyundai Ioniq and Chevy Bolt support the DC fast charging process according to the Combined Charging System Standard. This is where charging communication according to DIN SPEC 70121 comes in. The rising number of vehicles and charging stations has made a conformance test necessary in order to ensure interoperability.
Development of a new DIN SPEC with charging communication conformance tests according to DIN SPEC 70121:2014 on the basis of ISO15118-4 and -5, in English and in Word Format.
The specification will contain the following content:
- A definition of the test system architecture and test suite structure.
- An analysis of all requirements stipulated in DIN SPEC 70121:2014 with regard to testability using a black box test, and an evaluation of implicit and explicit testing capability.
- Mapping of the test cases from ISO15118-4 and -5 in order to identify test cases that have been adopted.
- Development of PICS and PIXIT for the vehicle and the charging station.
